About Parcheesi Style

Parcheesi is the American boxed version of the ancient Indian game Pachisi, and it's one of the oldest games continuously published in the United States, sold since the 1870s. You race four tokens around the board and home, using two dice, and try to finish before your opponents.

What gives Parcheesi its own character are two rules: blockades and the capture bonus. Two of your tokens on the same space form a wall that nothing can pass, which is legal and thoroughly infuriating in both directions. And capturing an enemy token earns you a sweet twenty-space bonus move, which can swing the whole race.

You can play Parcheesi free in your browser against the computer or with friends on one screen, with no download. If you've played Ludo or Pachisi, the racing will feel familiar, and the two-dice choices and blockades add satisfying strategy. It's a classic for good reason.
