Cookies are small files stored in your browser. KhelHive uses them sparingly — here is the complete list of what we store and why.
1. Essential (always on)
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in to your account. Set only when you sign in; secure and http-only.
- Local storage — your favorites, recently played games, per-game levels, mute preference, and rating history when playing as a guest. This data stays on your device.
2. Advertising (free users only)
Ads are served by Google (AdSense / Ad Manager), which may set cookies to measure and — with your consent where required — personalize ads. Without consent, non-personalized ads are shown. Premium subscribers get no ad cookies at all because ad scripts are never loaded for them.
3. What we don't do
- No cross-site tracking pixels of our own.
- No selling of data derived from cookies.
- No third-party cookies inside the games themselves — every game is built by us.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time — the free games keep working. Blocking the session cookie only means you can't stay signed in. For ad personalization choices, use the consent banner (where shown) or Google's Ads Settings.
