You play by tapping two numbers to pair them, or clicking them with a mouse on a laptop. Tap one number, then tap its partner, and if the pair is valid, both are crossed out.

Two rules decide which numbers can pair:

• Valid pairs are two numbers that are equal, or two numbers that add up to ten. So you can match a 6 with another 6, or a 6 with a 4.
• How they connect matters too. The two numbers must be next to each other horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, or separated only by already-cleared cells, which includes wrapping from the end of one line to the start of the next.

Clearing every number in a row removes the whole row, tidying the board.

When no pairs remain, the Add button appends the leftover numbers to the bottom, giving you more to work with. If you're stuck, the Hint button highlights a valid pair after a short ad.

Tips

• Clear whole rows when you can. Emptying an entire row removes it from the board, which shortens the distances between remaining numbers and opens up new pairings.
• Look for pairs across cleared cells. Numbers count as connected even when only crossed-out cells sit between them, so scan past the gaps, since partners often hide farther apart than they look.
• Check the line wraps. The end of one line connects to the start of the next, so a number stuck at a row's edge can often pair with one at the beginning of the following row.
• Pair before you tap Add. Every tap of Add appends more numbers to the sheet, so squeezing out all available pairs first keeps the board smaller for longer, even though you can use Add as many times as you need.
• Prioritize numbers with few options. A digit that can only pair one way should be matched before you accidentally clear its only partner, so handle the constrained numbers first.
• Scan the whole board when stuck. Before spending a deal, sweep the grid systematically, since a valid pair separated by cleared cells is easy to overlook and could save you a deal.
