About Arrow Connect
Arrow Connect fills the board with long, winding arrows tangled around each other like a maze. Tap an arrow and it slides out point-first: the tip travels straight toward the edge and the shaft follows its own path like a train on rails. If another arrow sits in the way, it lunges, springs back, and costs you a heart.
The puzzle is all about order. Most arrows are trapped at first, and every escape frees cells that unlock the next one — so clearing the maze means reading the tangle and peeling it apart from the right end. Every level is generated to be fully solvable.
You can play Arrow Connect free in your browser with no download. It's a one-tap game anyone can pick up, and the mazes grow from a friendly 7×7 up to a dense 13×13 packed with arrows.
Controls
You play with a single tap or click. Tap an arrow on a phone, or click it with a mouse on a laptop, and it tries to escape point-first.
Whether it gets out comes down to one thing:
- Tapping an arrow slides it out along its own path if the straight line from its tip to the edge is clear of other arrows. Blocked arrows lunge and spring back — and cost a heart.
- Finding the order is the real puzzle. Free the arrows blocking a path first, and a trapped arrow becomes free to escape.
Hearts are your lives: every blocked tap loses one, and running out means retrying the same maze with fresh hearts.
Retry restarts the current maze; the board, arrow count and tangle density all grow across eight levels.
Tips
- Look for tips aimed at open space. An arrow whose point faces a clear run to the edge is a free removal, and every escape opens room for the ones behind it.
- Trace the exit line before tapping. Only the straight line from the arrowhead to the edge matters. If any arrow crosses that line, the tap will cost a heart, so check first.
- Peel the outside first. Arrows near the edges usually have shorter escape lines, and clearing them unblocks the long arrows wound through the middle.
- Chain your removals. Each escape frees cells, so after every arrow leaves, re-check the board — something that was blocked a moment ago is often free now.
- Spend taps, not hearts. There's no penalty for thinking. When you're low on hearts, slow down and verify the path is clear rather than testing arrows by tapping them.
- Follow the shaft to the point. On dense boards, trace an arrow's winding shaft to its head to see which way it will actually move — the point's direction is what counts, not the shaft's shape.
Frequently asked questions
Is Arrow Connect free to play?
Yes. You can play as many levels as you like with no download and no account.
How do you play Arrow Connect?
You tap arrows to slide them out of the maze point-first. An arrow only escapes if no other arrow blocks the straight line from its tip to the edge. Clear every arrow to win the level.
Why won't an arrow move when I tap it?
Another arrow is crossing its escape line. Free the blocking arrow first, then come back — and note that every blocked tap costs a heart.
What are the hearts for?
Hearts are your lives for the level. Each blocked tap loses one; if they run out, you retry the same maze with fresh hearts. Clearing without mistakes is the perfect run.
Is every maze solvable?
Yes. Levels are built by construction so that a valid escape order always exists — if you're stuck, some arrow on the board can always move.
Can I play Arrow Connect on my phone?
Yes. It's a single-tap game, so it works well on phones and tablets in any modern browser.
